    We teach using a variety of methods, enabling us to progress each child individually based on their learning style. (memorization, creative exploration, phonic development, word play, repetition, etc)

    Each week is based on a theme.  Circle time activities, stories, arts & crafts, etc are related to the weekly theme.

    Each day begins with circle time. Circle time includes: days of the week, weather bear, calendar counting, letter review, sign language, alphabet flashcards, weekly theme activities, and manipulatives. For example, for our 4 year old preschool, during this time students review the alphabet with flashcards (or some other similar manipulative) Then one letter is focused on each week.  Students are taught the sound or sounds of the letter, words that begin with the letter, how to write the letter and an art project based on the letter. We also continually review the previous learned letters.  Once all letters have been introduced, we work on entire alphabet review.  We introduce a sight word each week and continually review the previously learned words each week.

     *  Students are read to each day

     *  Music is incorporated in the program Monday – Wednesday

     *  Homework that supports what the students are learning is handed out each day

     *  For the 4 year old class, a sight word book (photocopied) is handed out each Monday

     *  Weekly gymnastics lesson on Thursday (3 year old class) or Friday (4 year old class)

     *  Daily snack
